Gaelic Singer of the Year 2025, Kim Carnie blends traditional Gaelic roots with cinematic, contemporary soundscapes.
One of Scotland’s most compelling musical voices, she is the lead singer of the multi-award-winning band Mànran and a founding member of the experimental folk ensemble Staran. Her vocals feature in major film and television soundtracks and she is regularly commissioned by gaming companies. A’ Chailleach, her second album was released to great acclaim in autumn 2025.
