Join Phoenix Theatre Company as they take up residency at Lakeside Arts, forming a theatre company for female, trans and non-binary young people.

Join Phoenix Theatre Company, led by professional theatre-makers Evie Osbon (they/them) and Octavia Nyombi (she/her). 

The group will explore skills needed to set up a theatre company, ranging from directing, acting, stage management, costume and set design, to poster making, branding, producing and script writing. Commissioning a professional designer to design and make set/props/costume, and rehearsing and then performing a fully produced play at Lakeside Arts. 

Phoenix Theatre Company is an associate company of Shewolves Productions, and is also supported by Lakeside Arts and Rebel Sparks Theatre Company. The group is free to attend thanks to funding from the National Lottery Awards for All and Peoples Postcode Lottery/Peoples Postcode Trust! Snacks are provided at all sessions, and free local theatre trips.

Sessions will take place on Thursday evenings from 15 January – 23 July, with some Saturdays, see below for a full list of dates.
