The multi-award-winning fado singer LINA_ brings her contemporary take on this traditional singing style.

The folk tradition of fado, songs with melancholic melodies and lyrics, originated in Lisbon, Portugal. Here she performs music from her highly acclaimed album Fado Camões based on poetry by the 16th-century Portuguese poet Luís Vaz de Camões. On stage she is joined by Ianina Khmelik (keyboards) and Pedro Viana (Portuguese guitar).

Please note Justin Adams (guitar) and John Baggott (keyboards) will not be part of this performance, as previously advertised.
