Calling all builders, dreamers, and creator... Lakeside are thrilled to welcome Cardboard Adventures with their interactive cardboard extravaganza!
Join us for a day of imagination, construction, and community as we transform ordinary cardboard into an extraordinary city: BOXTROPOLIS!
Led by award-winning theatre and puppetry designer (and cardboard artist) Sam Wilde, this playful, hands-on experience invites families, of all ages, to drop in at any time during the day and help shape a growing cardboard city of tomorrow. From towering skyscrapers to tiny shops, winding roads to magical parks – what kind of city will you build?
Get creative and stay as long (or as little) as you like. Perfect for families, young makers, and anyone with a big imagination, and what’s more whatever you build will be curated into our next Wallner Gallery exhibition that will grow and develop all summer long!
This is a free workshops, just pop in any point through the day, and stay as long as you like. No need to book.
