Summer School: Drawn from Nature – Art in the Park Outdoor Exhibition

Monday 16 August - Friday 20 August, 10am-4pm
Highfields Park Boathouse

Children & Families

Suitable for ages 8-12
By booking you confirm that your child is within the specified age range

Inspired by the marvellous work of artist Mat Collishaw in our current Djanogly Gallery exhibition, this weeklong journey of art and expression invites children to illustrate themselves through means of drawing, painting, printing, sculpture and mixed media, as well as exploring the presence of nature in the environment around them.

Each unique and captivating day will introduce children to new methods of production by creating an outdoor gallery, giant portraits and printing patterns through a wide variety of materials and techniques. With such a diverse range of activities on offer, each child is sure to showcase their talent by producing pieces as unique and vibrant as they are.

Join us as we build, transform and construct our own creative environment throughout a fabulous five day exhibition of creativity.

Please note: Health and Safety requirements for this course will be reviewed after the next government announcement.
