The University Chamber Choir is an auditioned choir of talented individuals.

The chamber choir comprises around 35 student singers. It tackles a wide variety of exciting and challenging repertoire and is professionally led by director Rachel Parkes. The Chamber Choir performs alongside University Choir, and University Philharmonia as well as performing concerts of its own.

The Chamber Choir rehearses weekly from Tuesday 7 October – Tuesday 18 November, 5-6.15pm in the Djanogly Recital Hall in the Department of Music. Auditions will take place on Friday 3 – Sunday 5 October, sign up for auditions here. 

This ensemble is managed by the Choirs Management Team, comprising of professional staff and student arts management trainees. If you’re interested in joining the team, you can apply for the Arts Management Traineeship position here.

If you perform at approximately grade 8 ABRSM level and would like to audition for a place in University Chamber Choir please contact Catherine.Hocking@nottingham.ac.uk for further details.

Please note, Chamber Choir members are also required to join University Choir.
