The world of parish churches and parish priests is embedded deeply in the British landscape and imagination.
Alison Milbank, the author of For the Parish, will describe some of the history and distinctiveness of this system, illuminating the social and religious ways of life which thrived in parishes. Alison Milbank is Canon Theologian at Southwell Minster and Emerita Professor of Theology and Literature at the University of Nottingham.
