With Professor Chris Loveluck, University of Nottingham and Gavin Kinsley, York Archaeology.

From 1948-1968, the pioneering community archaeology project at Broughton Lodge, Willoughby-on-the-Wolds, uncovered 120 graves from an Anglo-Saxon cemetery dating from 475-580 CE (common era).

The speakers discuss the original published research (1993) and new perspectives from it on pandemics, climate change and biodiversity.

This talk accompanies The Anglo-Saxon Cemetery at Broughton Lodge, Willoughby-on-the-Wold exhibition.
