Bring your group to Lakeside for outstanding performances, fascinating exhibitions and interactive workshops – all in our unique parkland setting.

Lakeside’s Learning Team offer a flexible approach to school visits with a wide range of options available for all Key Stages. Our innovative learning opportunities are cross-curricular and devised in collaboration with teachers, artists and students.

As we are a multi-arts venue, we offer a unique experience for schools, with a huge array of options to suit your needs. Our sessions are delivered by a team of talented and experienced educators who are experts in arts, heritage and outdoor education.

For more information see the Take Part & Learn section of our website.

Groups are very welcome at Lakeside. Whether you’re planning a work party, family outing, youth group trip or group visit to the Playhouse, we make it as easy as possible to have a good time guaranteed.

Come to visit and you will quickly discover there’s more to us than our year-round calendar of events and exhibitions. Explore University Park and the 21-hectare Highfields Park, complete with boat hire on the lake, adventure golf, croquet and a children's play area; enjoy a bite to eat in our Pavilion and Gallery Cafés (advanced booking recommended); and learn all about our latest Djanogly Gallery exhibition on a guided tour (must be booked in advance).

All groups can buy nine tickets and get the tenth ticket free (this applies to the cheapest ticket). For school and college groups, the free ticket for every nine purchased is for a teacher or carer. To receive the group booking discount, tickets must be booked in advance and in one transaction. Group discounts do not apply to workshops.
