Poet Vicki Feaver was born in Nottingham, and now lives at the foot of the Pentlands in Scotland. She is the author of three highly praised poetry collections: Close Relatives (Secker & Warburg, 1981); The Handless Maiden (Cape, 1994); and The Book of Blood (Cape, 2006), which includes poems about the Camellia House and stuffed gorilla at Wollaton Hall. An emotionally frank and powerful poet, she confesses that in her earlier poems she repressed her stronger feelings, but decided to unleash them after overhearing course students call her ‘such a nice woman’. Special offer: purchase tickets for three performances and see the fourth free. Please note this offer is not available on-line.
