Abram Wilson trumpet Nathaniel Facey alto sax Neil Charles double bass Shaney Forbes drums Andrew McCormack piano Patrick Clahar tenor saxophonist Having recently released his debut album with the multi award winning Dune Records, Abram Wilson is next in line to make his name as the most exciting trumpeter to hit the UK scene in a long, long time (and he’s a mean vocalist too!). Born in New Orleans and a graduate from the prestigious New Orleans Center For Creative Arts (NOCCA), Abram is no stranger to the British jazz scene having recently worked with two of its leading stars - he’s the man behind the amazing voice and trumpet on Soweto Kinch’s Mercury-nominated album, Conversations With The Unseen and on Denys Baptiste’s album, Let Freedom Ring. Abram puts the dance back into jazz, incorporating hip hop and New Orleans-influenced grooves, blending the rhythmic qualities of artists such as Herlin Riley and The Roots.
