Supported by Bridie Squires and Panya Banjoko

The world premiere of a show about the universe and everything that surrounds it. What we know, what we think we know and what we are just making up as we go along. Stories, jokes, poems and a slide show from Nottingham’s own friendly neighbourhood poet, writer, TV and film producer.

This evening Henry will have brilliant support from poets Bridie Squires and Panya Banjoko:

Bridie Squires is a writer, editor, workshop facilitator and poet from Clifton, Nottingham. She is currently Writer in Residence at Nottingham Trent University, and Editor at Large for Nottingham's LeftLion Magazine. An alumnus of the Mouthy Poets collective, Bridie has performed in London's Southbank Centre, Karlsruhe's Staatstheatre, and in many corners of her hometown. She is currently working on her first collection, and is developing a one-woman spoken word show.

Panya Banjoko is a writer and PhD student at Nottingham Trent University. Her poetry collection, Some Things, was published by Burning Eye Books (2018). Her poems feature in anthologies including award-winning Dawn of the Unread - LeftLion magazine (2016). Panya is patron for Nottingham City of Literature, co-ordinates a Writers’ Network and is a multi-award winning poet.
