Michael Davis has made a hugely successful career out of hitting things with sticks; he’s well known for his percussion bands which have developed a national reputation and been a feature of many festival and community platforms including Glastonbury and Derby Festé.

He is passionate about enabling everyone to make music, and through this new research project he aims to design and create a sculptural chimes experience which is beautiful to the eye, harmonious to the ear, and eminently accessible to everyone. Michael is keen to find willing participants to engage with his prototypes, and we’re running a number of workshops with pre-existing Lakeside groups as well as the following which are free to book:

Saturday 18 June 1.30 - 2.30pm
Sunday 19 June 1.30 - 2.30pm
