Note to Tale is an extraordinary collaboration between some of the most talented improvisers working in the UK and Niall Ashdown of Improbable Theatre, whose one-man show at Edinburgh, ‘The Hungarian Bird Festival’, was Critics Choice in Time Out. Taking inspiration from audience suggestions and using cello, marimba, soprano sax, guitar, piano and voice, stories and music are created before your very ears. Let the five musicians from Between the Notes and Niall Ashdown pluck up your ears and incite your imagination. Hear how the biggest fish landed on earth, explore the Mexican deserts and desserts with singing buffet surfers Bob and Jean and dance around cello strumming stars. Every show is different but always funny, moving and extremely inventive. "Hungarian Bird Festival… one of the funniest one-man shows I’ve seen in a long while" The Daily Telegraph
