Complementing the Afrovibes programme, the popular Lakeside Township Cafe returns with authentic South African flavours. It's the setting for pre-performance food, drink, relaxation, music, chat and a great time - South African style! Hang out there with friends and catch pop-up fringe performances. Festival fringe events are being programmed right up to the start of the festival - full details can be found HERE Brothers in Blood Directed by Amy Bonsall A moving drama about culture, truth and the devastating consequences of misunderstandings, Brothers in Blood is set against Cape Town gang wars. Monday 27 October 3pm Theatre Royal Free Elusive Spring Directed by Kate Stafford A dark political thriller, Elusive Spring throws the spotlight on a world of power, corruption and media manipulation. Monday 27 October 7.30pm New Art Exchange Free Township Cafe Platform Relax in the cafe after Rainbow Scars and enjoy informal performances from locally based artists in response to our Afrovibes programme this week.
