Ali Smith's new novel, how to be both, was already being talked about as one of the books of the year when it was shortlisted for this year's Man Booker Prize. She'll be joining us here, shortly after the winner of the prize is announced, to read from the novel and talk about her work with Jon McGregor, writer-in-residence at the University of Nottingham's School of English. Ali Smith's previous books include the novels There but for the, Hotel World, and The Accidental, the story collection Other Stories and Other Stories, and the essay collection Artful. She lives in Cambridge. Suitable for all.
