Elusive Spring is a political thriller set in post-colonial Africa. It interweaves the stories of a local journalist who become dangerously enmeshed in political intrigue, an idealistic intern with the British Embassy and an artist using his skill as a puppeteer to undermine and challenge the status quo. Post Show Q&A with theatre performer and writer Soree Pillay. Lakeside is thrilled to be one of 17 partners nationally welcoming Afrovibes Festival. It is supported by Arts Council England and is part of the South African Season in the UK 2014 and 2015 organised by the South African Department of Arts and Culture.
