After the international success and critical acclaim of I Infinite Tom Dale Company teams up again with digital artist Barret Hodgson to create a new work for six dancers. Inspired by the prodigious music of producer Shackleton and collaborator Vengeance Tenfold, Refugees of the Septic Heart reflects the heartbeat of a nation as it perches on the brink of change. Gritty physicality and decaying urban sounds evolve into an optimistic undercurrent of mischievous, spirited and irrepressible dance. An audio visual world of digital animation, music and movement, featuring new music by Shackleton. Exhilaratingly beautiful and simmering with danger British Theatre Guide, Rise Dale’s edgy new work takes the temperature of Britain The Guardian pick of the week, Rise Commissioned by DanceXchange and supported by Curve, Leicester, Lakeside Arts Centre, Déda, Laban Theatre and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Tom Dale Company is resident company at Dance4. Produced by Claire Summerfield Presented in partnership with Dance4. Post Show discussion with Paul Russ, Director of Dance4. Running time: approximately 60 minutes without an interval
