Please contact the Box Office on 0115 846 7777 to be added to the waiting list. Karel Reisz’ classic adaptation of Alan Sillitoe’s novel with an introduction by the writer’s son, David Sillitoe, and Neil Fulwood (Alan Sillitoe Society). It will be preceded by The Factory (1965). Produced for BBCTV by celebrated documentary filmmaker Philip Donnellan, it provides a moving portrayal of a young boy's first day at the Raleigh cycle factory, the setting for much of Reisz's location filming.
