An evening of eating*, drinking, performance and DJ mixing in which artist and filmmaker, Frank Abbott, presents a radical recut of the Karel Reisz movie, celebrating the brilliance of the original writing and its relevance today. *pie and chips will be served in the Gallery Café from 6pm. SNSM-the Mix is a live re-mix by Nottingham artist Frank Abbott of the 1960 film Saturday Night & Sunday Morning looking at its relevance to the way we live and look today. His performance in the Djanogly Gallery café includes live video, re-edits of the original film, crowd-sourced videos from mobile phones, and pie and peas. BE PARTY OF THIS LIVE PERFORMANCE BY SENDING MOBILE PHONE VIDEO SHOTS OF YOUR OWN SATURDAY NIGHTS AND SUNDAY MORNINGS!
