Eugene Ugorski (Violin) and Kostantin Lifschitz (Piano) BEETHOVEN Sonata for violin and piano No. 5 in F, Op. 24 'Spring' BARTÓK Rhapsody No.1 for violin and piano Rhapsody No.2 for violin and piano CHAUSSON Poème BRAHMS Violin Sonata No.1 in G, Op.78 Aged only eight when he made his debut with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, and 15 when Valery Gergiev championed him at the Moscow Easter Festival, Eugene Ugorski has worked with leading orchestras throughout Europe, the US and South America. This gifted young violinist with a distinctive rich, dark sound, can claim a direct link to Heifetz through his teacher. Russian pianist Konstantin Lifschitz has a distinguished career as soloist and chamber musician. Since their first appearance together in 2008 they have been invited to perform at the Beethovenfest in Bonn and the Lucerne Festival. The concert finishes at approximately 9.20pm
