Since its BBC World Music Award in 2004 WVB has received enthusiastic reviews to its CDs and performances worldwide. The power of Warsaw Village Band’s music lies primarily in the discovery of archaic folk themes which are transformed into a thoroughly contemporary and energetic sound world. “This is the sound of globalization.” The New York Times
