Alexander Sitkovetsky, violin Wu Qian, piano Leonard Elschenbroich, cello HAYDN Piano Trio in G, Hob: XV/25 ‘Gypsy Rondo’ BRAHMS Piano Trio No.2 in C, Op.87 MENDELSSOHN Piano Trio No.1 in D minor, Op.49 The members of the Sitkovetsky Trio met at the Yehudi Menuhin School and founded the trio in 2007. They have won numerous awards and critical acclaim and currently hold the Richard Cairnes Junior Fellowship for Chamber Music at Trinity College of Music. Their programme for Lakeside comprises three joyous and spirited classics of the piano trio repertory. “...unbounded, tireless energy... Bravo!” The Strad The concert finishes at approximately 9.15pm
