THIS PERFORMANCE TOOK PLACE IN 2009 SCHUMANN Arabeske, Op.18 Davidsbündlertänze, Op.6 Waldszenen, Op.82 Sonata No.2 in G minor, Op.22 Angela Hewitt has established herself at the highest level not least through her superb, award-winning recordings for Hyperion. She was named ‘Artist of the Year’ in the 2006 Gramophone Awards and her eleven-year project to record all the major keyboard works of Bach has been described as ‘one of the record glories of our age’.
