THIS PERFORMANCE TOOK PLACE IN 2008 DEBUSSY 6 Epigraphes Antiques DEBUSSY 6 Préludes, Book I DEBUSSY Petite Suite RAVEL Ma Mère l'Oye RAVEL Sonatine RAVEL Rhapsodie Espagnole Pascal Rogé is one of the great pianists of his generation. An ambassador for French music, he is known for his elegant pianism, delicate phrasing and luminous interpretations of the music of Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc and Saint-Saëns. He has won many prestigious awards including two Gramophone Awards, a Grand Prix du Disque and an Edison Award for his recording of the Ravel concertos. He has recorded the complete piano music of Debussy twice, with Decca in the 1970s and most recently, on the Onyx label. With partner Ami Hakuno this promises to be a wonderful evening of French music performed to exquisite perfection.
