THIS PERFORMANCE TOOK PLACE IN 2008 BEETHOVEN Sonata for cello & piano Op.5 No.2 in G minor Variations in E flat on the duet 'Bei Mannern welch Liebe fuhlen’ from Die Zauberflöte Variations in G on a theme from Handel's Judas Maccabeus Sonata for cello & piano Op.102 No.2 in D Colin Carr visited Lakeside in February 2006 performing concerts that were sold out weeks in advance. We are delighted to welcome him back for an all-Beethoven programme. Colin Carr travels regularly between London and New York to fulfil both his concert commitments and teaching positions at the Royal Academy of Music and University of New York. He is joined by regular duo partner Tom Sauer, director of the Mannes Beethoven Institute in New York. 6.45pm Pre-concert talk by Dr Philip Weller The concert finishes at approximately 9.15pm
