The beautiful ‘painted inscriptions’ by David Jones are the inspiration for this workshop. Using printmaking and drawing techniques we will play with shape, colour and texture to explore the design and layout of these texts. Participants will then create their own inscription using either words they have personally selected or the texts and poems of David Jones. Serena Smith is the tutor.
