With Dr. Akilah Jardine

We regularly hear in the news that leading companies are found using slave labour in their supply chains. Shopping ethically seems an impossible task for consumers. Why do companies find themselves exposed to slavery and what can they and we do to eradicate modern slavery from the supply chains that provide us with goods and services every day?

Dr. Akilah Jardine (Business/Politics) leads the Rights Lab's work on corporate social responsibility in communities, as part of its Business and Policy Programmes.

Approx. 1 hour
Suitable for ages 14+

Part of a series of free talks from the University of Nottingham’s Rights Lab – the world's first large-scale research platform for ending slavery.
