Pageantry, privacy and pantomime at the court of Louis XIV are brought to life by dancers Mary Collins and Steven Player with the London Handel Players. After the pomp and ceremony of a grand Pavane and a delightful suite dedicated to his charming young grand daughter-in-law, the Duchess of Burgundy, we join Louis XIV in his private chamber to savour a typical Sunday afternoon performance of the last of Couperin’s Concerts Royaux.

Eat French! Available from 5.30pm in the Pavilion Cafe, with last orders 45 minutes before the start of the performance.
