Change of artist line-up

We regret that Toumani Diabaté has withdrawn from all of his 25 European and UK concerts scheduled in 2017/18, including this concert at Lakeside on Wednesday 15 November. We are delighted to confirm that renowned kamancheh virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor will still perform at Lakeside on 15 November with a revised programme.

One the best known exponents of Persian and Kurdish music, Kalhor came to international prominence through collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma, the New York Philharmonic and the film-maker Francis Ford Copolla.

We are contacting all tickets holders for this concert to advise of the change of programme. If you have any concerns please contact our box office team on 0115 846 7777.

Iranian Kamanche virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor is internationally renowned as an exponent of Persian and Kurdish music. As well as performing with legendary Persian singers he has collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and the film-maker Francis Ford Coppola.
