She’Koyokh made a memorable Lakeside debut in 2013 with a brilliant evening of vibrantly energetic music. She’Koyokh’s members hail from the UK, USA, Serbia, Sweden and Turkey, forging a unique sound that is traditional yet original. Their live shows explore music from the Baltic to the Black Sea with songs in Yiddish, Russian, Greek, Ladino, Romany, Turkish and Kurdish with klezmer instrumentals and folk tunes from Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia. Their CDs have received five-star reviews with Songlines hailing She’Koyokh as ‘Britain’s best klezmer and Balkan music band’.
