Beethoven String Quartet in F major, Op. 135

This performance will last 1 hour 40 minutes including interval.

Now in its fifth decade, the Fitzwilliam String Quartet is amongst the longest established string quartets in the world. It is one of the few quartets to play on both historical and modern instrument set-ups.

Owing to a change of personnel for maternity cover the programme will now be performed on modern strings. The concert also includes three Doubles on Purcell Fantasias composed in 2015 by Marcus Barcham-Stevens, the FSQ's own second violinist.
