Janácek String Quarter No.1 in E minor 'Kreutzer Sonata'

Brahms String Quartet No.2 in A minor, Op. 51 No.2

The Escher String Quartet has received acclaim for its profound musical insight and rare tonal beauty. The quartet was a BBC New Generation Artist from 2010-2012, giving debuts at both Wigmore Hall and BBC Proms at Cadogan Hall. In its home town of New York, the ensemble serves at the Artists of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. The quartet has recorded the complete Zemlinsky String Quartets of Naxos and future releases include the complete Mendelssohn Quartets on the BIS label.

They are clearly one of the finest quartets of their generation.
