Archaeology NOW - New Approaches to Classical Sparta

With Stephen Hodkinson, emeritus Professor of Ancient History, Department of Classics and Archaeology, Nottingham University

Spartan women were fierce enforcers of the military code. This lecture will question these orthodox images and argue that Spartan life was more varied and complex than we normally think.
