Lecture - Vanishing Boundaries

the Bauhaus and its Diaspora

Mark Rawlinson, curator of Homage to the Bauhaus, considers the ways in which the teachings and ideas of the Bauhaus school travelled and influenced succeeding generations throughout the last century. His introduction explores the aesthetic principles of the Bauhaus pioneers and traces their importance in a range of work made by an expanded field of international artists.

Followed by a preview of the Homage to the Bauhaus exhibition.
