Choreographer: Maud Lannen

Performer: Maud Lannen

Presented as part of The University of Nottingham School of Education’s Fine Art Degree Show 2015

A nod to the mythical figures of the artist genius and the superhero, this solo piece tells the tale of loss and desire, fetishism and appropriation, to reveal issues of (sexual) differences and power within the canon, popular culture, social and political systems. This piece was originally performed alongside Georg Baselitz’ Gothic Maiden series recently exhibited at New Walk Museum Leicester.
