Full-time students in possession of a valid student card with photo, state pensioners, registered disabled patrons, registered unemployed and children under 16 qualify for a concession. If you are claiming a concession, you will need to bring proof of concessionary status with you when you collect your tickets.
A free ticket for a personal assistant (PA) is available for any deaf or disabled person who has purchased a ticket to an event or performance and would be unable to attend without the help of their personal assistant.
The PA must be able to assist the deaf or disabled person to access Lakeside and its facilities, remaining with them to ensure their wellbeing and comfort. Anyone designated as a Personal Assistant must be able physically to assist the person they are with to leafe Lakeside buildings in an emergency.
The following forms of evidence make an individual automatically eligable for a free Personal Assistant ticket in addition to their ticket:
We recognise that the evidence might not include everyone that has an access requirement. For those unable to provide us with any of the above evidence, a free PA ticket can still be issued at the venue's discretion to those who need assistance from another person in order to move around safely within Lakeside's buildings.
£5 tickets are available for all University of Nottingham students for most performances. To claim your £5 tickets, simply inform the Box Office Assistant when they are serving you and ensure you have your student card with you when you collect your tickets.
It is possible to reserve tickets and pay at a future date. Reservations can be held for a maximum of three days. If the day of the performance falls within three days of the reservation being made, the tickets will be held until 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
There are many ways in which you can donate and contribute towards the continuing success of Nottingham Lakeside Arts. If you would like to donate £1 at the end of your booking, please inform the Box Office Assistant who is serving you; they will add the amount of your donation to the transaction. Every penny of your donation will go towards either programming or learning at Lakeside. We will not take any administration costs from the money you donate. School and college groups receive one free ticket for a teacher or carer for every nine tickets purchased. All other groups can buy nine tickets and get the tenth ticket free (this applies to the cheapest ticket). To receive the group booking discount, tickets MUST be booked in advance and at the same time. Group discounts do not apply to workshops.
Latecomers may only be admitted during a suitable break in the performance and at the Duty Managers discretion. In the case of some performances, it may not be possible to admit latecomers.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for unused tickets. However, if you know you will not be able to attend a performance in advance, we may be able to sell on your tickets for you. The performance MUST sell out before we are able to re-sell your tickets and the tickets must be returned to the Box Office prior to the event. For more details on the re-sale tickets procedure, please speak to a member of our Box Office team.
