Launching Black History Month at The University of Nottingham is a great evening of music and spoken word, featuring Nottingham singer/songwriter Natalie Duncan drummer and percussionist David Stickman Higgins, alongside other local musicians and poets.
The first event in the University’s month-long programme which includes public lectures, film screenings and debates highlighting, analysing and celebrating black culture and history. Events will take place at the University and across the city, with more detail available at blogs.nottingham.ac.uk/blackhistorymonth
