XVI/14 HANDEL Suite No.7 in G minor, HWV432 HANDEL Suite No.2 in F, HWV427 PURCELL Suite No.2 in G minor, Z.661 HAYDN Sonata in G, Hob. XVI/27 2009 marks an anniversary year for Purcell and Handel as well as Haydn, and in this concert internationally renowned harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock celebrates the keyboard music of these three composers. Pinnock is known worldwide as a harpsichordist and conductor who pioneered performance on historical instruments with his own orchestra, The English Concert, which he founded in 1972 and led for the next thirty years.
