BARTÓK String Quartet No.3 MOZART String Quartet in B flat, K458 (Hunt) BRAHMS Clarinet Quintet in B minor, Op.115 Internationally renowned clarinettist and Director of the Royal College of Music, Professor Colin Lawson joins the Allegri String Quartet to perform one of the most sublime pieces in the clarinet repertoire. Colin Lawson is a leader in the field of historical performance and will perform the Quintet on a Baermann-system clarinet after Ottensteiner, c1860. 6.45pm Pre-concert talk by Professor Colin Lawson - 'Brahms, Mühlfeld and the German clarinet' Djanogly Recital Hall The concert finishes at approximately 9.10pm.
