Gallery Art Group and Little Gallery Art Group Assistants (Two posts, fixed term, part-time, term-time)

Please note this position is only available to University of Nottingham students.

This is an exciting opportunity for up to two individuals with proven visual arts skills and a keen interest in art galleries to develop their own practical skills working alongside the Gallery Art Group and Little Gallery Art Group tutor, and to assist with the development of these groups.  Good communication skills and a proven ability to relate to children and young people are essential requirements.  The successful candidates will also be involved in planning sessions with the tutor.
 
Candidates must be able to commit (during term-time) to Saturday mornings, 10am to 12 noon (11-16 year olds), and Saturday afternoons, 1pm–2.30pm  (8-10 year olds) beginning 15 November 2008 (exact dates available in further details).  Expenses per session are payable. These posts will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending July 2009.

It is a condition of this post that satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
