In response to James Webb’s ‘Prayer’ sound installation, artists Katy and Rebecca Beinart invite you to join them for a day of careful listening and unusual tastes. You are invited to bring a family recipe and an object or story that reminds you of an ancestor, perhaps one who made a journey. The session will weave together personal tales in an informal ritual that uses all the senses and honours memory.
Katy and Rebecca have recently returned from a 3-month collaborative residency at Greatmore Studios, Cape Town, and the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, funded by Arts Council England.
