About the artist: Rachel Dunn
Rachael produces intricate hand-pierced jewellery from sheets of precious metal, crafting this with care and precision. Her work is inspired by stylised natural forms found on vintage fabric samples and she translates her sketches straight from paper into metal.
She pierces all her patterns from sheets of precious metal using a small hand saw - this is a time consuming technique that requires great concentration, but the same results cannot be replicated by machine and each piece created is unique.
