Whether it be breakfast on the hop, lunch with colleagues, a mid-morning chat with friends over speciality coffees and pastries, or a self-indulgent cream-topped hot chocolate to warm up on even the coldest day, the Pavilion Cafe and the Gallery Cafe can offer freshly baked goodies on a daily basis, now including weekends.
 
From classic hot dishes at the Pavilion Cafe to deli sandwiches on speciality breads and bagels at both cafes, and from delicious pastries to freshly baked muffins and cakes, all our items are passionately prepared by our chefs on site.  We look forward to serving you today!

Full Pavilion Cafe Menu available Monday - Friday and performance evenings.  Snacks, cakes and sandwiches available at the weekends.

Eating Before a Show?
On performance evenings, our delicious pre-show menu service begins at 5.30pm with last orders at 6.45pm (for 7.30pm performances) or 7.15pm (for 8pm performances)
 
You can now book your table at the Box Office when booking tickets for a show, or call the Pavilion Cafe direct on 0115 8467179.  If it’s a special evening, ask to speak to Pavilion Cafe’s Duty Manager and we can to put a bottle of wine on ice in time for your arrival!

Greek Nights at the Pavilion Cafe
24 – 27 April
Lysistrata the original battle of the sexes is complemented by the impressive foodie talents of Steve, Head Chef at the Pavilion Cafe with his Greek Menu. Look out for dolmades, stifado, moussaka, Keftedes, souvlaki, delicious mezes and of course for the sweet lovers – Baklava

More Hearty Irish
23 May
The success of our first foray into Irish cuisine was so successful; we’ve decided to do it again with the magical traditional music of Dervish. Slow cooked Irish stew, colcannon, boxty and Irish buttermilk scones!

Picnic anyone?
16 June
Our Summer Symphony in the Park takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Jubilee Avenue Meadow at University Park. Why not pop into the Pavilion Cafe and pick up a picnic? We’ll have an array of sandwiches, drinks, cakes and treats for you to enjoy whilst listening to some orchestral classics.

Pie Night
16-27 July
What better way to round up the season than a run of the musical thriller Sweeney Todd and a Pie Night every night? Mrs Lovett would be proud!
